When you're in the hospital, you're normally not able to leave, physically or mentally. This can be especially hard on children confined to one space and going through difficult medical treatments. As a bit of a respite every year, Delta Airlines gives kids the opportunity to get away and get in the holiday spirit. With their doctors' permission, the children board a plane bound for the North Pole for a magical brief "flight." Santa Claus even makes a special appearance!
