Thanks to some quick-thinking cops and a Good Samaritan neighbor, a man and his two dogs were rescued after their boat sank at Lake Bistineau in Louisiana. Christopher Burns called 911, but no one was able to hear him since his phone had gotten wet. Still, dispatcher Allison Greene stayed on the line and helped Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office deputies find Burns' house. Sgt. Tim Wynn and Dep. Duane Washington then ran into Thomas Murphree who lived three doors down and offered them up his boat. Luckily, they reached Burns who was holding to both a tree and his dogs Saint and Tonka.
Burns and his wife Farrah met up with the deputies afterward to express their gratitude and be interviewed about this amazing story.
