From living in a homeless shelter to becoming the class valedictorian, Richard Jenkins has done it all. After growing up extremely poor, Richard wanted to make something of himself, so he turned to books. Now, he has a full ride to Harvard, taking advantage of a program that helps pay tuition for students from low-income families.
