Dogs always have a special place in our hearts, especially those that do good deeds. Take black lab Charlie. He's in training now with America's VetDogs to become a service dog for a veteran in need, and he's also a star on the "TODAY Show." The night before meeting his new companion, Charlie made a memorable appearance at the New York Islanders hockey game. Such a smarty!

The next morning, Charlie finally met his veteran, Stacy Pearsal, who he will join in December after he completes his training. Best wishes for a beautiful new partnership!
