You know it's a big deal when two of the biggest Broadway stars come together for one epic song. Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator and star of "Hamilton," and Ben Platt, the original star of "Dear Evan Hansen," teamed up for "Found Tonight." A portion of the proceeds from the song will benefit March For Our Lives, an organization started by students after the devastating high school shooting in Florida in Feb. 2018.

'90s JCC Center Shooting Survivor Shares Her Story

With mass shootings more and more in the news, it's important to never forget the victims and survivors' stories. Mindy Finkelstein Rieger is a survivor of the Los Angeles Jewish Community Center shooting in 1999. While working as a camp counselor, the 16-year-old was rejoining her 5-year-old and 6-year-old campers after a game of capture the flag. Suddenly, white supremacist Buford O. Furrow, Jr. walked up, shooting 70 rounds of ammunition into Rieger and four others, including three little boys. Life for them has never been the same, and Mindy still feels the effects in her everyday life after being shot in the thigh and shin. She still has shrapnel in her body, and she tends to have a panic attack after every new mass shooting occurs. Still, Mindy says she knows she was in the right place at the right time protecting her little kids. The gunman was the one in the wrong place, she says. via BuzzFeed View Now
