While attempting to board a US Airways flight to their performance at an art festival in Arkansas, classical musicians, Zach De Pue and Nick Kendall, from the group "Time For Three," were told their violins would not be allowed on the plane. Supposedly, the FAA would fine the airline if they saw instruments on board, which was weird as Congress passed an act permitting musical instruments as carry-on baggage. Not wanting to chance checking their violins and having these expensive and fragile instruments break, the guys were eventually kicked off the flight and left standing on the tarmac. That's when they decided to start filming and playing one of the violins. US Airways would later apologize and even put the guys with their instruments on a later flight. At RTM we caught up with the entire band via Skype to get the story behind this bizarre incident.
