Butternut's Easy DIY Hamster Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Ingredients:
(you can make a couple small or one large)
  • 1 tablespoon of pumpkin puree
  • a handful of pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 carrot (to sweeten the pumpkin without using sugar)
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tablespoon of non-fat, plain Greek yogurt
  • a handful of oats

Directions:

1. Pre-heat oven at 400 degrees
2. Thinly grate the carrot and mush the banana
3. Mix the pumpkin puree, banana and carrot together with a little bit of yogurt
4. Chop up the pumpkin seeds (if you can't find unsalted, wash and dry the seeds before using) and mix with the yogurt and oats
6. Form the oat, yogurt and pumpkin seed mix into a crust shape (you can use foil to make a pie tin and place the mix into the tin)
7. Spoon the pumpkin puree mix on top and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until not mushy (oven times will vary)
8. Remove from heat, let cool and remove from tin before serving
9. Decorate with pumpkin seeds and yogurt (as whipped cream)
10. Enjoy!
