It was her 89th birthday, a feat within itself, when Laura Bertaut got a special surprise. While at a Garth Brooks concert in Lafayette, Louisiana, the singer noticed a sign in the crowd saying, "Elvis Was My First Concert" and spotted Laura next to it. Stopping to say hi, Garth started singing "If Tomorrow Never Comes." He also ended up giving Laura his guitar at the end!
The moment was especially touching for Laura and her family because of some of the trials they have faced. They lost their homes and possessions to Hurricane Katrina, and two years ago Laura lost her husband of 60 plus years. We're so glad Laura got to have this happy moment. Thanks, Garth!
