Melanie Rossomando was enjoying a nice afternoon in Seaside Heights, New Jersey when a storm swept into the area. Rossomando and her friend were on a skyride at the time, and that ride lost power because of the storm. Instead of waiting for help to come, Rossomando was scared she was going to get struck by lightning, so she jumped 35 feet onto the ground. Rossomando did not get injured from the jump and she told her entire story to RightThisMinute.
