Over in Spain, there was another dramatic animal rescue. Juanjo Villalba saw a deer stuck in an irrigation canal, so he jumped into the water to save it. Juanjo took the exhausted deer to the side of the canal, where his friends pulled it up onto dry land. The deer was weak afterwards, but ran off after recovering its strength.
