Just 17 years old when a bullet hit her hip in the car she was riding in, her injuries were more severe than anyone thought. Megan lost more than half of the blood in her body, went into shock and had injuries to her small intestine and nerves in both legs. Getting shot also had a strong impact on personal life including struggling at work and at school with memory problems. Despite all this, Megan is adamant that she's not a victim. She's a survivor.
