A man trying to save his dog needed saving himself in this shocking video from the Chicago Police Department. He was walking his 9-month-old American Eskimo mix Pika by the beach when the dog darted toward the ice on the lake and ended up in the water. The man immediately jumped in trying to rescue the 19-pound dog but was unable to get out. Luckily, the police were able to pull him out, and both the man and his pet are now fine.
