It was an interesting morning for mom Jennifer Williamson and son Aaron. Trying to catch a flight at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport on March 26, Aaron was stopped by Transportation Security Administration agents for a security check. Aaron suffers from Sensory Processing Disorder, and Jennifer said it was uncomfortable and traumatizing for him to receive a lengthy patdown. Her over two minute video is going viral, and Jennifer said the family was detained for over an hour and ended up missing their flight. She also claims Aaron did not set off any alarms and passed through the metal detector just fine.
In response, the TSA said in a statement that, "All approved procedured were followed to resolve an alarm of the passenger’s laptop."
The TSA said Williamson and her son were only kept for 45 minutes while three bags were searched.
