When bats are stressed out from moving, they have been known to abandon their children. That's what happened to this baby fruit bat rescued by Bat World Sanctuary. The caretakers will feed the little guy and nurture him since they're not native to the United States. You can help out by donating to the sanctuary here.

Speaking of baby animals, Ozzie the parakeet likes to make sure every baby is taken care of, even when they're not his. Ozzie's human says that the bird reminds them when it's time to feed the babies and even looks out for the young ones while they mature.
