We here at RightThisMinute and longtime viewers have a special place in our hearts for our friend and former RTM host Beth Troutman. She left the show in order to care for her mother who unfortunately lost her battle with ovarian cancer.

After her mother's death, Beth says she went in search of a new purpose, and that journey eventually led her to Haiti, alongside RTM editor and filmmaker Jack Chapman. Together, they just won a regional Emmy® Award for a mini-documentary following the efforts of Give Hope Global and its initiative to support healthcare workers. Today, Beth makes a surprise visit to the RTM studio to talk about this life-changing experience.
