It starts small. A wisecrack here, a tweet there. Suddenly, before you realize it, you've got a full-fledged joke addiction on your hands. That's what happened to Curt Oren and his bit about getting a new hat. Oren thought it would be funny to act over-excited about getting a new hat. And it was - at first, anyway. Then he kept the joke going far longer than it should have. A concerned friend discovered that Oren spent all his money on this joke and set up a donation page to get him back on track. Feel free to contact Oren directly about the Institute here.

'My Giant Life:' A Tall Order, but Someone's Got to do it

'My Giant Life:' A Tall Order, but Someone's Got to do it

The average height for an American woman is roughly 5-foot-5. TLC has created a five-part series called "My Giant Life" documenting the life of four very tall women, all 6-foot-6 or taller: Colleen "Coco" (6-foot-6), Lindsay (6-foot-9), Haleigh (6-foot-7) and Nancy (6-foot-9). Our crew at RightThisMinute took some time to chat with Coco, a former pro volleyball player, and Lindsay, an actress and former pro wrestler, about how they lead their lives — one giant stride at a time. Their takeaway: It hasn't always been easy, but life is as normal as it can be for them, and other tall girls should embrace their diversity and be proud. "My Giant Life" premiers on TLC July 14View Now

The animals' reactions are so entertaining, and the experiment definitely answered the question. But think about it, seeing your own reflection for the very first time is pretty crazy, and we're betting there aren't a lot of mirrors lying around the Amazon. View Now
