A police officer in Meekatharra, Australia crawled into a storm drain that was about 30-feet long in order to save the lives of six tiny puppies. The pups were only four days old and couldn't even move. Luckily, the rescue operation was successful, and all six puppies are safe and no longer starving.
Speaking of dogs in peril, when a man in Pervouralsk, Russia noticed that a dog had fallen through some thin ice at a nearby lake, he sprang into action. A few of the other locals helped out as well, aiding the rescue by pulling on a rope tied to a flotation device. The man was able to pull the dog to safety.
