It takes a village to rescue an elephant, especially when the elephant is stuck very deep in a muddy swamp. The rescue mission took 48 hours, but the villagers never quit. They tried several different methods, using a crane to dig up some mud and pulling her out with a rope. Eventually, they are able to free her and she is reunited with her baby.

The next rescue is in Brazil, where a car had to swerve to avoid hitting a hawk on the road.
