You often see strays left with no evidence of someone ever caring for them but this dog was tied to a fence along with a note in the suburbs of Athens, Greece. The note apologized for leaving the dog but claimed they could no longer care for her. Believed to be a thought-out abandonment, The Orphan Pet found her near an animal rescue center.

After getting her vaccines and treatment for kidney failure, she now wears a smile and a happy tail wag. Given the new name Brandy, she is up for adoption through SCARS and ready for a forever home.
