Photographer Jamen Percy wanted to be the first photographer in the world to capture photos of a jaguar in a cave. It was quite a harrowing journey, filled with setbacks and logistical nightmares that lasted for about four years. Once he finally found a perfect location in a recently discovered Mayan cave, he set up his camera and gear. Finally, he managed to snap a few shots of a jaguar he named "Romeo," due to the heart-shaped spot on his side.
On the subject of awesome animals, what happens when an elephant has an itch it just can't scratch? No, this isn't the set up of a joke, this is what happened to one elephant that had a particularly bad itch. The elephant used an entire tree to solve that problem, almost breaking the whole thing in half. We feel sorry for any birds living in that tree.
