A woman walking through a subway station in Shenzhen, China had an unfortunate accident. She stepped onto a floor that had been boarded up to temporarily cover a hole and fell into the opening. Nearby commuters were able to quickly pull her out and she only suffered minor injuries.

Changing gears to Leeds Station in England. The managers of the station would like to remind travelers that if their luggage is too bulky, they should please use to elevator instead. To hammer the point home, they put together a short video showing the mishaps many passengers have had on the escalator due to cumbersome bags.

An elderly man in China has suffered an amputation of his right foot after it was crushed by the bus that dragged him for a short distance. The incident occurred when the bus driver closed the bus doors, but not before the elderly man stuck his umbrella in between the doors. Police have said that both parties bare half the responsibility for the accident. Then, a grandmother became confused when she and her granddaughter tried to get on an escalator in a shopping center. First, she tried to go up the wrong way. When she finally did figure out where to go, she lost her balance and fell down on the moving escalator. The grandmother suffered head and arm injuries.
