In Australia, Gurkan Yildrim is currently awaiting his sentence for a shocking car theft and kidnapping. CCTV spotted Yildrim walking from his car to an SUV, then he broke in and starting to drive away. The SUV was parked in front of a school as a mom was picking up her children. Yildrim did not realize there was a 6-month-old child in the backseat, even as other parents threw themselves onto the hood of SUV to stop him.
Next, a landlord in Taiwan is under investigation for attacking one of his tenants with a knife. Apparently, the tenant owed the landlord $300 and he drunkenly confronted the tenant on the street. The landlord attacked the tenant with a fruit knife. Had the tenant's wife not heroically stepped in to save her husband, the landlord might have been investigated for murder instead.
