Growing up, Molly Caldwell from Cincinnati, Ohio only knew a few things about her birth mother. Her birth mother was a teenage single parent who gave Molly up for adoption to help daughter have a better life. Molly always wanted to learn more, though. An Ohio law change allowed Molly to obtain her birth certificate, but that didn't answer all of her questions.

All phone numbers related to her birth family were disconnected, but Molly was finally able to connect with her birth mother, Rosie Marie Clagett, through Facebook. It turns out Rosie had been searching for Molly since 2000. Ever since their connection on Facebook, Molly and Rosie have been in constant contact by sharing their stories and pictures with one another. All of the efforts led up to the two having this beautiful reunion nearly a half-century in the making.
