Not that any writers here at RTM are speaking from experience, but they can be a fantastic way to capture something epic on a smaller scale. 5MadMovieMakers used this philosophy when creating their latest video by using a Hot Wheels car and track for a cool project. It's as if the "Fast and Furious" movies were very tiny and less aggressive.
