Even Santa himself wouldn't be Ho-Ho-Ho-ing after a week trapped in a chimney. Fortunately, this poor pigeon had a surprising sense of humor and plenty of food, water and human company to keep him going until his hosts staged a rescue and released Jolly Old Pigeon after a 7-day stay.

Cats apparently have saintly ambitions too! This young kitten had a most undignified rescue when a family found him meowing at the bottom of a water outlet pipe in their yard.
