We can only imagine how terrifying wildfires are for animals. They're scary enough for humans, but animals don't have the ability to evacuate on their own and care for themselves. In the process, many of them are often separated from their families in times of disaster. Many wonderful organizations like the FieldHaven Feline Center have stepped in to reunite pets with their owners, just like cat Annie. While in the shelter, Annie (a male cat) was very quiet and withdrawn, but as soon as he heard his owner's voice, he perked right up and came out of his carrier.
