Shark fin soup is a rare delicacy in Asian culture, and this gruesome scene from Hong Kong shows the widespread impact that the dish has on the local shark population. Gary Stokes, the filmmaker and activist that took this video estimated that 10,000 sharks died to provide that many fins.
