Cesar Punzalan is a dedicated teacher who walks around five miles to and from school so he can teach the students there. They noticed that his shoes were getting worn out, so they all pitched in to surprise him with a new pair of shoes. When he saw the thoughtful gift, he couldn't hold back the tears.

Next, Florance Vermeulen inspired his class to keep a positive mindset by getting everyone to dance together. He really showed his students that education doesn't have to be boring; it's possible to have good time at school while also learning how to be successful!

Mrs. Finch always starts out the morning singing and dancing with her students to a remix of the hit song "Juju On That Beat." Woman Surprises Retired Teacher With Life-Saving Gift

Woman Surprises Retired Teacher With Life-Saving Gift

Teachers and students can have a special relationship that lasts beyond the classroom. Even teachers you've never personally had in school can have an impact! That's especially true in this touching story about a random and very important act of kindness. When teacher Kathy Hubler Young put the word out about retired Cedar Cliff High School teacher George Labecki's urgent need for a new kidney, it got the attention of her former elementary school student Lindsay Arnold Wenrich. Wenrich felt compelled to help, even though she didn't personally know Mr. Labecki. He was quite a popular teacher at school, and Wenrich remembered him, so she decided to see if she was a match to donate a kidney. She was and decided to surprise Labecki dressed up as a Penn State Nittany Lion (even though she's a die-hard Ohio State University fan!). The surgery is scheduled for Oct. 26, according to Good Morning America. In the meantime, the pair have become instant friends forever. Tearful moment captured on video as a retired teacher learned he'd be receiving a life-saving gift from his former student! https://t.co/daxzYuYRS0 pic.twitter.com/vIIYjnEnN7 — Good Morning America (@GMA) October 16, 2018 View Now
