In just a matter of minutes, 11-year-old Gabby's life changed forever. Once an accomplished soccer player who had just received a scholarship, Gabby suddenly lost 95 percent of her vision after being diagnosed with a rare genetic eye disorder that caused blindness for seven generations of her family.

Always a social and playful little girl, Gabby got shut out by her friends after her diagnoses and had to undergo major surgery which may or may not work. Luckily, one bright spot in her life has been her service dog, a St. Bernard named Hannah. While the trainer helping her is offering his services at half the cost, funds are still needed. If you would like to help, head to Gabby's GoFundMe page.
