If you haven't yet heard of Canada and Norway's beef, we're honored to be the ones to break the news. Canadians thought that their "Mac the Moose" statue was the largest in the world...until Norway one-upped them. There's now a giant moose statue towering over Oslo, Norway, and it's 31 cm larger than Mac.
Now, if this were America, there would be a full-blown Moose War at this point, with people whipping out their rulers like it's a moose-measuring contest. But in a video posted to Visit Norway's YouTube channel, the people of Norway have extended the olive branch to Canada, suggesting they "make moose, not war." A "moose truce," if you will.
There's no word yet on a response from Justin and Greg, the Canadians who initially called out Norway for stealing their title. And as of now, their GoFundMe to help regain the title by giving Mac a hat, or perhaps a pair of high heels, is still up. Right now, all we can do is hope for peace.
