A pre-recorded moment of silence created by ANZAC (Australian New Zealand Army Corps) is being used to collect donations for veterans. The donation of $2.11 by phone call or text message will provide funds for military veterans and those currently serving. This is in commemoration with ANZAC Day that celebrates the service of those who fought in World War I.

Vance McAllister, a conservative politician from Louisiana, was caught on surveillance footage kissing one of his female staff members. He was elected in November of 2013, but just one month later, he was caught smooching with his district scheduler, according to The Ouachita Citizen. McAllister is a married father of five, who ran for office while preaching "faith, family and country." He has since come out and released a statement about his actions.
Two British soldiers were outside an Afghan bomb factory, when the building exploded during a controlled mission. The soldiers were hard to see and hear, but eventually signaled that they were okay. It is unclear what made the factory blow up but the soldiers narrowly avoided a quick demise as they were only a few feet from the blast. Talk about a close call.
