James Gandolfini has died from an apparent heart attack while in Italy for the 59th annual Taormina Film Festival in Sicily. He shot to fame by playing Tony Soprano on HBO's critically-acclaimed series The Sopranos. TMZ caught up with the actor before his trip where he joked around about a possible Sopranos movie.

A 37-year-old cyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a car during the Lac-Beauport triathlon just east of Quebec City on Saturday morning, according to CBCNews. The video captured a car pulling out of a parking lot and onto the bike race course, and appears to show the driver being guided by a police officer. The fast-moving cyclist hit the driver side of the car and was thrown onto the hood, smashing the windshield. Police say the woman is expected to recover from her injuries. According to CBCNews, spectators are blaming Quebec provincial police officers for the accident.
Nine guests at a Jägermeister sponsored pool party in Mexico were poisoned, one of them seriously, after copius amounts of liquid nitrogen were poured into the water to give it a smoke effect. What the organizers didn't realize was that liquid nitrogen can have a reaction with chlorine that causes it to produce toxic gas, that can make it difficult for people to breathe. You can see several people in the pool begin to faint. One man still remain in intensive care in a coma.
More than 200,000 demonstrators have taken to the streets of Sao Paulo, Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro and four other major cities to rally on a range of social issues, including poverty, tax burden, political corruption, social services and a growing frustration with the expense of big-budget events like the 2016 Olympics and the World Cup. According to The Washington Post, the unrest began last week as a response to a 10-cent hike in public bus and subway fares that kicked in on June 1, but protestors insist the movement is now about so much more. Journalist Michel De Souza went to Rio de Janeiro to photograph the demonstrations, but also had a GoPro camera constantly recording a unique POV video from his perspective. According to Souza, the video "shows moments before each photograph was taken. I think it also tells the story of something that seems to be marking our country. I confess that, towards the end, it moved me to tears."
A 12-year-old autistic student was seen being abused by his special education teacher on surveillance. The Florida teacher is shown physically grabbing the boy and throwing him to the ground. Though this occurred in July 2012, the trial is about to start. After the incident went public, other parents came forward to claim the teacher their children, as well.
In Russia, a bolt of lightning stuck a mother and daughter seeking refuge from bad weather under a metal umbrella. Both victims were transported to the hospital with severe burns, but both survived the incident. Take a look at the footage of the strike, caught on dashcam.

A microburst occurred during the Sonic Bloom Music Festival at Shadow's Ranch in Georgetown, Colorado, after which police responded to a naked man charging up and down the street, possibly under the influence of drugs. Officers tased the man repeatedly in an effort to subdue him.
