Escalators can be a dangerous thing for kids when nobody is watching them. A little girl in China got herself stuck on the automatic handrails of an escalator and started getting pulled up. She was saved by a passing shopper who stepped in and pulled her to safety.
Then, British Transport Police want commuters to be aware of the dangers of drinking near train stations. Multiple CCTV videos show drunk commuters nearly getting hit by passing trains. Some buddies in West Virginia were fishing when they heard some loud barking coming from down the creek. Minutes later, hey found a pack of dogs that has cornered a young buck, so they decided to jump in and help. They shooed the dogs away, and got the scared deer out of the creek and back to shore.

A motorcycle rider in the Philippines spotted a helpless kitten stuck in the middle of a busy road when a bus driver noticed it as well. The bus driver actually got out, picked up the kitten and went to set it down in the median, but the rider offered to take the poor kitty. Shenanigans are bound to go down when all your buddies get together...But if you're in Russia, "shenanigans" consist of heading out to a frozen lake, setting a car on fire, and driving it off a cliff 130 feet into a frozen lake.
