Landslides are scary wherever they occur and the panicked yelling in our first video had us bracing for the worst. When the section of a cliff face started its slide, the buildings it supported went along for the ride. This happened in India, where more than 20 families had to be evacuated and relocated.

Does this next video look more like a landslide or a raging river? There were moments we couldn’t decide, perhaps because it was a bit of both. Rain in Brazil caused a landslide near a stream. The excess rainwater and dislodged earth merged into a muddy waterfall. The road had to be closed temporarily until the water receded, but fortunately, no one was injured or displaced.
