An off-duty military police officer in Brazil was putting his toddler into a car seat when a driver spun out of control. CCTV footage shows the driver hitting the police officer and his car. The driver was arrested and luckily, the child is OK and the officer survived but suffered serious leg injuries.

Next, a motorcyclist in the Philippines is lucky he was able to walk away at all after his close call. A semi-truck driver clipped the motorcyclist, who fell over and was nearly crushed by the large wheels. At the last possible second, the motorcyclist got up and the truck stopped. Disaster was avoided by less than a second.
