It may not be the most subtle crime, but hey, it's an easy one right? Two men had the master plan of barreling their van through the front of a shop to tie a rope to a cash machine, attach it to their van, and pull it away. They seemed so confident in their plan that they even let a pedestrian pass by before driving away with the machine tethered to them. To their demise, the pair was arrested and sentenced to a combined 22 years behind bars.
Next, a lovely night on the town ended in a tussle in the streets after a new couple was approached by the woman's ex-boyfriend looking for a fight. The ex-boyfriend swung first, but the new boyfriend swung harder, knocking his opponent unconscious. In the end, the new boyfriend was the one to get fined by the court! It makes zero sense to us, but they claim he beat up the ex-boyfriend too hard.
