Getting trapped under the ice on a frozen lake would be a terrible experience for anyone, especially for a dog. In our first story, Emergency responders in Kiev, Ukraine arrived on the scene to rescue a dog who got stuck in a frozen lake while out on a walk. Afterward, locals were close by with warm blankets for both the dog and the hero who jumped into the ice.

In our second story, a journalist was doing a story about ducks near a local reservoir when a child screamed for help. His dog had fallen into the ice-cold water, so the journalist sprang into action. He stripped down to his underwear, jumped in, and saved the dog. We're so happy both of these pups are now safe, sound, and warm.
