Store Owner Defends Robbery With Sword & Stolen Car Crashes Into Pole 1:37
An armed robber targeted a family run deli in Perth, Australia on Sunday morning, holding the two owners at gunpoint. The husband and wife duo defended their store. Pham Vin Dinh, a 60-year-old Vietnam veteran, threw a Samurai sword at the robber and his wife set off the panic button. Their actions were enough to scare off the man, who fled with a little under $200. Now, a manhunt with a massive police force and dog squads is underway to find the gunman.
Meanwhile, over in Edwardstown, Australia, another robbery resulted in a car crash. A Peugeot stolen from Oaklands Park on August 23 was found crashed into a pole. Three people in dark clothing were reported fleeing from the scene. Police patrols have searched the surrounding area, but are still looking for those responsible.
