Windsurfing is great fun, but as one man found out, when the wind gets a little too strong the fun quickly goes away. After finding himself exhausted and stranded from fighting the harsh 50-mile-an-hour winds, the windsurfer had to call out for help. Luckily, the RNLI found the man, but only after he had been pushed miles away from the shore!
But the life-saving work of the RNLI is never done. A father and daughter found themselves stranded too far out to sea after strong tides pushed them far from shore. The UK coastguard got a call from the man's wife, and they sent out the RNLI. Both father and daughter were successfully rescued thanks to the volunteer force.
