Villagers in India were frightened when they saw a leopard hiding in an outdoor bathroom and shut the door, unintentionally locking the big cat in with an innocent dog. Rescuers sprang into action, hoping to lure the leopard safely out and catch it in a net. The process took several hours, and while they did get the leopard out, they failed to catch it in the net. When a man in South Africa attempted to cross a dam with his dogs, unsurprisingly, things didn't go so well. One of the dogs was left stranded on a rock in the middle of the raging rapids, but luckily, a brave passerby was in the right place at the right time. The man climbed down into the dam and used a rope to slowly bring the pup back to land, risking his own life to save the dogs. What a hero!

Rainfall in Kenya has led to some nasty flooding, including on some of the islands. The flooding got so bad that nine giraffes became stranded on one island and needed rescuing. So conservationists banded together, built a barge out of whatever materials they got their hands on, and went to work on the rescue. It was labor-intensive and time-consuming, but they managed to get the giraffes to safety one at a time. View Now
