Yes, Jessica Chastain is a terrific actress. She gives an award worthy performance (singing included) in "The Eyes of Tammy Faye." Chastain reportedly bought the rights to Tammy Faye Messner's (formerly Bakker) story for $5,000. This is ironic because in her heyday as the reigning queen of evangelical TV's PTL and Heritage USA in the 1970s and 1980s, Tammy Faye and her husband Jim brought in millions. This film dramatizes Tammy Faye's early life through her marriage to Jim and the downfall of their religious empire due to financial improprieties and a wee little sex scandal. View Now

The Green Knight
This is the pick of the week. The 14th century medieval Arthurian legend is beautifully told with Dev Patel in the lead role as Gawain. While it might have given you fits if you weren't prepared for the pop quiz back in high school, the dreamlike imagery, acting, and set design make this quite a retelling. It should be noted, and this is not a spoiler, there are no sword fights. This is more cerebral, and that's not a bad thing. It falls more into the art film column than action/adventure. But it's definitely worth your time. View Now

That's one small flight for helicopter, one giant leap for the future of space exploration! NASA’s Ingenuity Mars Helicopter became the first powered craft to fly on another planet. Ingenuity's historic flight lasted a little over thirty seconds and the craft reached heights of about ten feet off the Martian ground. The future is bright for this technology; helicopters like this could serve as scouts for rovers — and eventually humans — on future missions. Their ability to reach places humans and rovers can't reach could be imperative to how NASA learns more about other planets. View Now
