My 12 year old son Jonathan is extremely color blind. Today in his science class at the amazing Lakeview Schools, his fellow color blind principal, Scott Hanson changed his life by sharing his color blind glasses. This is what true leadership looks like in practice my friends
12-year-old Jonathan is colorblind, and his principal at school, Scott Hanson, is as well. So, Scott thought he'd let Jonathan give his EnChroma glasses a try — and the little boy's reaction to seeing color for the first time is so moving.
After this video went viral, a GoFundMe was started to raise money for Jonathan to get a pair of glasses for himself, and the fund has tremendously exceeded its goal. The proceeds are now not only being donated to others in need of these glasses who can't afford them, but EnChroma is also matching each pair purchased from the donations. It's amazing to see so much kindness be spread as a result of this heartwarming moment.
