'Home Alone is 25 Years Old;' Here's What Macaulay Culkin is Doing Now

Believe it or not, "Home Alone" was released 25 years ago today. That's right — one of our favorite holiday movie is a quarter of a century old, meaning we're all ancient.
No doubt we're going to watch Kevin McCallister kick some Wet Bandits butt this holiday (just like every year), but maybe it will carry a bit more meaning this time around.
As for our young hero in the movie, played by Macaulay Culkin, he's had an interesting life the last two-and-a-half decades, and he's currently on the road with his band, crushing pizza.
No, really.
Culkin had a few more hits after "Home Alone," like "Home Alone 2," "The Good Son" and the lovable "Richie Rich." He got married to Rachel Miner in 1998, and divorced four years later. He dated Mila Kunis from 2002 to 2011. These are some serious life moves.
Before we move further, let's go back to "Home Alone," and remember how Kevin used to crush pizza.
OK, now let's proceed. In 2013, Culkin uploaded a video of himself crushing pizza.
This video makes a lot more sense, artistically, when you realize it was in response to Andy Warhol eating a burger.
Culkin's video was the announcement of Pizza Underground, a comedy rock band parodying The Velvet Underground songs with pizza-themed lyrics. No, really. Along with singing, Culkin — now 35 — plays percussion and the kazoo. The band gives out pizzas to people who attend their concerts. Which sounds amazing. They're just having a bunch of fun and are doing it with the most loved food this side of bacon and chocolate. Who could argue with that?
So realize now that "Home Alone" is old enough to rent a car, some things have changed. Actually, a lot has. So don't just sit back. Take a Walk on the Wild Slice.
