Special Wheelchairs Allow People With Disabilities To Enjoy Water Park

We often take for granted the things we can do and the places we can go, but not everyone has that luxury. For example, water parks. It's assumed that most visitors can climb up the steps to get to a water slide or even venture in a wave pool, but what about those with disabilities? Theme park Morgan's Wonderland in San Antonio, Texas took the extraordinary step of making its water park accessible to those with disabilities. Partnering with the University of Pittsburgh's Human Engineering Research Laboratories, the park's special air-powered wheelchairs can get wet safely, according to Mashable. What an amazing idea!
