You may remember the story of Beth, a little girl with Pfeiffer Syndrome, who was visited by teacher Chris Ulmer with Special Books by Special Kids. Ulmer first started interviewing students in his special education classroom. Now, the non-profit organization visits people around the world, sharing their stories and serving as an education resource. We now are introduced to Ashley Carter, a truly special young man and an anti-bullying campaigner.
Carter has Treacher Collins syndrome, a condition that affects the development of bones and other tissues of the face. Although he could be sad that he is different from others, Ashley has accepted his diagnosis, and there's nothing he would change about his life. So inspiring!
