Winter Weather? Alligators Hibernate Too!

According to WLOX, 18 alligators just started their brumation process which is similar to hibernation and are able to sense when water is at its freezing point. They're then able to thaw out days later with no injuries. If you're interested in learning more, head to The Swamp Park's blog.
