Canyoneering Gets Scary When Flash Flood Hits

Eric Hanson and a few of his buddies went out for a day of canyoneering when it began to rain. Rappelling down the rocks to a safer spot behind some large boulders was the first task when the rainfall turned to a flash flood. Staying put inside the canyon and not being swept away by the dangerous waters rushing through proved to be even tougher with temperatures dropping and fear setting in.
