The rescue efforts are continuing in Puerto Rico after recent Category 4 Hurricane Maria hit this week, and a mother and her two children had a lucky escape. BBC News reports they were able to get on top of a capsized vessel and get the attention of a British helicopter. Unfortunately, it's believed a man inside the vessel was not able to escape. View Now

If you're ever stranded in a monumental flood, you might want to think about giving these heroic guys a call. Dale Young, Johnathan Jones, Kevin Jones and Saxton Detwiler knew people were stranded in an eight and a half foot flood, so they got in a friend's military personnel vehicle and went to the rescue. Thanks to them, between 800 to 1000 people were rescued over a week's time while Hurricane Harvey ripped through Texas. View Now

YouTubers Charles and Allie live in Florida and before evacuating Hurricane Irma, they stumbled upon a tiny kitten running across the road. Totally alone, the adorable animal needed to be rescued, and Charles and Allie couldn't find the owner.
She's not just a movie star. Kristen Bell is proving she'll go above and beyond to help others. While filming in Orlando, she got caught in Hurricane Irma and decided to make the best of it. While staying at a Disney World hotel, she's been helping people stuck there and also performed some amazing songs from her movie "Frozen" at a shelter nearby.

Just as Harvey has ended, another hurricane is on its way. Floridians are bracing for impact as Hurricane Irma is supposed to hit Miami this weekend. Evacuations have already started, and people in Winter Garden, just east of Orlando, are gearing up.
