WCF Courier reports show rescue crews trying to pull Ron Harris to safety. The man was on a personal watercraft on the flooded Cedar River near Evansdale, Iowa. Rescue crews were trying to save Ron as he floated down the river. Crews threw out a rescue rope, but Ron would not let go of his own rope that was tied to his watercraft.
