Bet you didn't know the same technology that allows us to deposit checks with our phones and prevents self-driving cars from running over people is the same technology that can give you a puppy face to post on your Snapchat story. It's called "computer vision." But as Vox reveals — there's a lot more than that behind the screaming bunny and Snapchat's other augmented-reality selfies. View Now

The president—he’s just like us! Who knew President Obama is swooning over “Game of Thrones” just like the rest of the world? He also seems pretty torn up when mentioning Hodor’s name (R.I.P.). View Now
Age is just a number, and Tony Hawk proves it. Watch the skateboarding legend land a 900—or a two-and-a-half aerial spin—at the ripe age of 48. Exactly 17 years ago yesterday (June 27th), Hawk landed the trick for the first time. To commemorate the anniversary, the father of four did it again.
Fun fact: Hawk is among only a few skateboarders who’ve actually landed the trick. The last person to do so was Evan Doherty, 11, in 2014. Pretty impressive. View Now

When you are in a foreign country you should respect the laws of the land, but this athlete felt she was above the law. Literally. The female BASE jumper did not have a permit to use this Chinese bridge as her exit point. Police told her that she was not allowed to jump but she tried to jump anyway. She later returned and completed her jump when police were no longer present. View Now
We've all heard how some insects are popular delicacies around the world. Raw, fried, dipped in chocolate, you know! Scorpion is where many people would draw the line, we suspect. Especially if the stinging nuisance is still alive. And grumpy.
None of these inhibitions held back this group of Japanese YouTubers, who wanted to get to know scorpions on a more personal level. (OUCH!)

If you stumbled into a sinkhole like this unfortunate officer of the law in China, we doubt most people would've kept calm like this cool cucumber did. When life gave Liu Yong a sinkhole, well, he dove into that opportunity, vanishing and reappearing several feet below on the hill! It's not quite magic but it's spectacular enough to make him an honorary wizard by RightThisMinute standards. View Now

Only 45 feet long, the "bark" of OUE SkySlide in Los Angeles, California, is much worse than it's "bite." Its 5-star appeal is the fantastic view it boasts from the U.S. Bank Building and the thrill of having only glass between you and a 1,000-foot fall.
Still, the must-see SkySlide still "nips" its visitors from time-to-time, like when this granny landed a bit too fast. (Don't worry, she's okay). Visit LA's coolest attraction today today! View Now
